This is a documentary called Underestimated which tells the story of a sub genre of music in Dublin called Drum & Bass. We had access to some of the people involved in the scene and we focused on their efforts to ensure this small scene stays alive.

Mind the Gap Films produced Sign Up!, an 8 part Deaf Adult Literacy series, for Dublin Community TV in the Summer of 2008, in cooperation with the Irish Deaf Society. The show was aimed at members of the Irish Deaf community with literacy difficulties and provided general information on topics such as Finding a Job, Saving the Planet, Getting a Mortgage and the Human Body, all through the first language of the Irish Deaf Community, Irish Sign Language (ISL). The show aired on DCTV during the Autumn of 2008.

The Stars Are Underground is a 24-minute film documenting the underground music scene in Dublin, in 1996. The film was first shown in the same year and a VHS was released by Folkrum Records. Directed by Daragh McCarthy, the film documents a generation of Irish bands who took their inspiration from American hardcore punk bands who, rather than pursuing major label deals, made their own self-financed records and released their own material.
